The body of David Lewis of Watseka was brought here for burial Monday. Two brothers, Thomas and Cal of Burr Oak, Kansas accompanied the body. The brothers ages are eighty and eighty-two. Cal is a brother-in-law of Mrs. W. W. Loudon.

David Lewis, who came to Watseka some five weeks ago seriously ill, died at the Iroquois Hospital last Friday night, chronic liver trouble being the immediate cause of his death. He was 73 years of age.
The deceased came with his parents to Iroquois County from Indiana in 1854 and had lived here since. At one time he farmed eighty acres south of Crescent City and at the time of his death was possessed of considerable money and good paper. He was a bachelor.
Thomas and Calvin Lewis of Burr Oak, Kansas, brothers, were at his side when he died. Funeral was Monday afternoon and the remains were buried at Onarga.
