These six children of Uncle Nathan Rogers, were first cousins to all of father's children; they were cousins to father's first sort, because father's first wife was sister to Uncle Nathan, and they were cousins to father's second sort, because their mother and our mother were sister; hence the connection between the Stillmans and the Rogers."
